YUCAIPA — CALIFORNIA58 LOCAL. Yucaipa is preparing for its fifth annual Turkey Trot 5K and one-mile run on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 26, 2026, at Yucaipa Community Park. The city’s official calendar lists the event from 7 to 10 a.m.
What residents need to know
The advertised race-day schedule includes late packet pickup at 6:30 a.m., the one-mile race at 7:30 a.m. and the 5K at 8 a.m. The park is at 34900 Oak Glen Road; participants should verify parking and check-in instructions before traveling.
Early registration ended October 31. The event listing identifies November 1–25 as the late registration window, with listed fees of $40 for the 5K and $30 for the one-mile route. Registration includes a finisher’s item and a T-shirt while supplies last, subject to the organizer’s stated conditions.
Families should check current participant instructions for age categories, course accessibility and refund rules. A community run is not identical to a professionally timed competitive race unless the organizer states which timing services are offered.
The municipal calendar confirms the planned date, but weather, road controls or other operational issues may result in changes. Consult the official event listing before departure.
